To students who want to study in the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory


To become a master or doctor course student in the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory

The Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory is belonging to
the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology,
Department of Information Physics and Computing (Prof. Masatoshi Ishikawa and Assistant Prof. Yoshihiro Watanabe)
and
Department of Creative Informatics (Prof. Masatoshi Ishikawa).
Students who want to study in the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory have to
  1. pass the entrance examination of Department of Information Physics and Computing and be assigned to
    Prof. Masatoshi Ishikawa or Assistant Prof. Yoshihiro Watanabe as a supervisor, or
  2. pass the entrance examination of Department of Creative Informatics and be assigned to Prof. Masatoshi
    Ishikawa as a supervisor.
If you want to be a master course student, you need not contact with any member of our laboratory until you
pass the examination.
If you want to be a doctor course student, you need contact with Prof. Masatoshi Ishikawa or Assistant Prof.
Yoshihiro Watanabe before you send an application form for the examination.

To become a research student in the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory

As our laboratory is not so wide, we cannot accept research students except students who have a scholarship
from government. We can accept only a government-sponsored student as a research student. Please contact
Prof. Masatoshi Ishikawa or Assistant Prof. Yoshihiro Watanabe after you get a scholarship from government.

To become a student based on an exchange program

Our laboratory can accept exchange program students based on an exchange program between universities
or between faculties. For more detail information, please contact The Office of International Relations (OIR) of
The Graduate School of Information Science and Technology (IST).

Internship in the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory

We don't have any internship program because our laboratory is not so wide.
