CV

Yoshihiro Watanabe is a researcher creating new sensing technologies called High-speed Vision. In 2002, He received bachelor's degree in the mathematical engineering and information physics from the University of Tokyo. In 2004, he received master's degree in the information science and technology from the University of Tokyo. In 2007, he received Ph.D degree in the information science and technology from the University of Tokyo. Since 2007 he has worked as Research Fellow, since 2008 as Project Assistant Professor, since 2011 as Assistant Professor. He is the leader of the Vision Architecture Group and the member of the Meta-perception Group at the Ishikawa-Oku Laboratory. He has been awarded several prizes including 22th Best Paper Award from the Robotics Society of Japan, Ericsson Young Scientist Award 2009, and 13th Best Paper Award from the Virtual Reality Society of Japan.
